C-TPAT

C-TPAT is a joint business-government initiative to build cooperative relationships that strengthen overall supply chain and border security. C-TPAT recognizes that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) can provide the highest level of cargo security only through close cooperation with the owners of the international supply chain such as importers, carriers, consolidators, licensed customs brokers and manufacturers. CBP is seeking a strong anti-terrorism partnership with the trade community. C-TPAT is not just for large size companies. Small and medium sized companies are encouraged to apply to reap the benefits of a secure supply chain.
