Logistics Analyst – Winnipeg

We are currently seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our Logistics team based in our Winnipeg facility at 310-555 Hervo Street. Working onsite in our head office; the Logistics Analyst would be responsible for providing full cycle customer service and assist with day to day activities of the logistics and courier departments.

Daily tasks may include:

  • Tracking and tracing functions
  • Dispatching
  • Communicating with fleet drivers & independent contractors
  • Processing orders and coordinating with warehouses, including processing inbound and outbound freight
  • Coordinating the movement of freight
  • Performing software data entry
  • Assisting with billing clients

Skills and abilities required:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) is required
  • Time management skills with proven ability to multitask
  • High accuracy in data entry, minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
  • Superior attention to detail
  • An aptitude for listening, solving problems, responding flexibly and creatively to new challenges
  • Ability to problem solve independently
  • Ability to follow established operating procedures and processes
  • Exceptional client service capability and confidence in engaging clients across multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.) using a friendly, positive attitude
  • Punctual, reliable, demonstrated exceptional work ethic
  • Experience with various software programs, or ability to learn
  • Willing to be cross trained in other duties to support the team
  • Ability to work in warehouse or office setting as needed
  • Attendance in secondary or post-secondary education system is an asset
  • Previous education or experience in Supply Chain Logistics or transportation is an asset
